I was thinking about this this morning
The manager has to get some kudos - he’s worked out very quickly (and painfully) how to get the best out of the squad
We look well coached with clear direction n play with and without the ball
Massive turn around in 3 weeks |

A good depressing report. I'm trying to stay positive.....
I think all 3 signings yesterday improve us. I think Poku and Kone improve us. I think we're lucky that the 3 game weeks havent started yet.
But I'm not sure where the first win comes from at the moment.... |

Clive - There are very few good things about the club, but I'd put you (and your dedication to the cause) as one of them. The whole fanbase is lucky to have you.
But on a personal level Im glad youve taken a break, you must need it. Step away for a few weeks, go and watch the wrong type of rugby and when you're ready i'll stick a Peroni or two on my tab.

Personally if he’s fit for 30 games a season (big if) he’s one of the best players QPR own and is a good age profile still |

His last two championship stints were basically both from January and he played 17 for us and 17 for pompey. If we can get 35 games out of him this season we will kick on and secure a decent mid table position - also he’s only 30, younger than I thought |

I think we’re sort of saying the same thing - I would imagine we too heavily priced whilst in the championship
Also Fernandes et al bought the club thinking 2 things
1. We’d have a sustainable premier league club
2. We’d get a new ground
Both of those things feel a million miles away.
I guess as a fan base we’ve got to try and stay positive and see where we are after the window |

If that was the case we’d have been sold already. Why would anyone by QPR in its current state. Whilst the training facilities are a big step forward we have no other real assets which can be used for building income
The stadium can’t be renovated and makes us no money. Unless a new ground can be found we will always be punching well below the weight required to be top half championship/ lower table premier
And there’s so many clubs ahead of us for investors who want to buy a football club
So we’re stuck with the owners just as they are stuck with the club
The only way to progress the football club is to probably leave LR - but that’s one of the reasons we all fell in love with QPR in the first place
I think the only way the club gets bought or sold is if we either go up a league or down a league and I think we all know what probably more likely |
