Act three – Report
at 23:49:29

Pretty good summation Clive from what I saw. Yep you bet, Begovic now past his use by date and more & more of a risk with each game. The scenario you have mapped out for him is spot on and just hope he has a couple of match winning saves left in him !!? R's physically and mentally spent in the 2nd half and really needed to go in a goal to the good at half time. Still in it tho' and lucky Baggies had a big second half at the JS Stadium & helped out with some goal diff as well !!

Field's surprise double caps fitting footballing tribute to Bowles – Report
at 07:29:16

A genuine match for the ages you could've scripted a tome on Clive. Very apt "Ainsworth rolled into town looking like dad had taken the divorce badly" How DID he keep us up last season ????? Magnificent performance on a special night and yes deserved all 3 pts somehow snatching only a point from the jaws of victory. 3 day turnaround will test the full starting side and trusting MC will work his magic shuffling the squad around. That damn hope dares in and dares out and maybe only Stan is privy to the script of the football gods ?!

Sinclair’s immediate impact crowns Cifuentes’ successful Fox hunt – Report
at 23:40:44

TA Clive mag bloody nificent, purposeful and professional and playing with tactical nouse. It won't necessarily be easy to keep the current form going but we've given ourselves every opportunity to stay up sooner rather than later. Now making it tougher for teams to play against us and MC has turned the team mentality right around this year. Will be very interesting to see the starting X1 Wednesday night. Bring it on the Baggies. U Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr'ssssssss

Prestige performance puts QPR back in the hunt - Report
at 01:33:53

Great work Clive. Encapsulates the R's to a tee. Swab & pickle juice must've worked pre Robins ! Something did, maybe the shame that was called out post Stoke "effort" ? A worthy professional football performance and as a result 3 points to the good. Congrats on the turnaround are due. The pressure ratchets up again over the week with the worst away team in the Div playing the worst home team in the Comp !! Can we finally, finally get the victory that sees us poke our noses up out of the swamp or will we succumb to the home ground hoodoo in front of the disgruntled natives ? A betting man would have quids on the Millers getting something out of the game perhaps ?!

Spot on Clive and Rs back to being a bloody disgrace when the pressure to perform is really on. They just can't cope with it. Yes and likely we get the skitso effort in Bristol. Need to swab this squad every game.

Frey ties up cliffhanger on home debut – Report
at 05:30:22

Thanks Clive you've identified fight, desire, belief, game plan & a sense of entertainment in a side that has been largely bereft of these professional essentials for a good while. While not the full 3pts we can finally see a team competing to get the essentials right under MC whose savvy Jan pick ups are setting the new standard. Just waiting for the match when Armstrong gets his game altogether and belts the opposition. Stoke would be a good start. Seriously think we have a better chance than ever of climbing the basement stairs and avoiding our current cellar. Reckon it is more than hope for a change !!

Surprise reinforcements lead QPR to Blackburn – Preview
at 23:41:47

Good write up Dave & some horror stats there against Blackburn this century ! Even the refs numbers are a shocker ! Will be very interesting to see what side we put on the park and the surest things about this game is a Colback card and a Szmodics goal !!

Brace for impact, QPR crash at Millwall - Report

Good work Saffa. Were they all hungover ? Back to keystone cop "defending" at it's worst. Brain fades again in both injury times and WHAT was Begovic doing when we conceded the second goal !?? Player body language post both goals woeful
Frustration beyond belief. Is Cook crook and unavailable ? Looking like a route up at Portman Rd Fryday !!!

Light at the end of a two-year tunnel - Report
at 07:39:27

Yes Clive, it's faint and most likely a candle flame fretting on the next cross breeze but that second half effort was a performance almost forgotten re the ability of these players. Now the worries really begin knowing what this team remains capable off and praying to the football gods it doesn't vanish again into the ether. Still ultra nervous months ahead with a mountain to climb but I am seeing that the belief is now there & the side is enjoying it's football again . Hallelujah ! Injuries ?

Cheers Clive black as ever gts us thru ! Gotta say the LOL line (because I am old enough to have been around and saw it go into the drink) was "Storm Barbet sweeping diagonally across the country the night before and leaving Kings Cross in Last Chopper Out Of Saigon status on Saturday morning". Gotta say we were a bit stiff in the end not to get a point but still likely to finish rock bottom more than 21st ! Defending keeps setting new lows each game without Cook. Another hiding imminent at West Brom then me thinks

Ah you're at being a funny bugger again Clive. A better very R's result than expected with absolutely no football gods on our side Sat. arvo !! An entirely different kind of flying, altogether – Report
at 10:16:50

Top write up and less down a lot easier to scribe ! Thought we rode our luck and used up a bit of football god credits but what a skitso change yet again in attitude within a week !! 2 games down and we've already seen performances miles apart ! Who'd try and second guess this lot. Cook made a huge difference for sure and hopefully Colback will do likewise putting a bit more steel & backbone in the team. Lets hope East Anglia is feeling a bit sea sick !!
