Those "politicians" do their drinking in the tax-payer subsidised H of C bar - no £7.50 pints in there.

That’s the question Paul Morrissey should have asked whilst he had KG out in front of the LR faithful.😂

Oh shi t - this one hurts.

What an incredible scene that was, and the Roses were in there, shaping it with attitude, clobber, and those absolutely banging tunes.

What a privilege (and stroke of luck) it was to have been in my mid-20s during that period - I don't think there will ever be anything like that again.

RIP Mani, thanks for all the great memories, brother.

Bloody fireworks...
at 11:15 22 Oct 2025

They should be restricted to licenced displays only. Last night they were still going at well past 1am and woke me at 4:43 this morning. It's off the scale.

Remember when it used to be a box of "Standard Fireworks" for a few quid? Now they're industrial strength and clowns just letting them off all over, some of the stuff on social media beggars belief in the stupidity levels.

If I started doing that on the Uxbridge Road I'd be arrested and rightly so. Time to put a stop to it.

Just before my time, but his DNA ran through the team I first watched in 1977 as a spotty 13yr old, and got me hooked.

Thanks for the memories and the legacy Gordon.

RIP Mr Jago

Saw them at Wembley circa 2008/09 absolutely pony. My mate got tickets for the Heaton Park gig on the 19th. Even if they’re pony again - it’s a low bar, Richard Ashcroft is supporting - saw his Stevenage Borough gig end of May - absolutely fantastic performance, the fella is a legend in my book.

Should be a cracker of a weekend tho.

God, how awful. I can't begin to imagine how his poor parents can process losing two sons - absolutely heartbreaking, his wife, kids and family - beyond devastating. Weeks into his marriage, everything going for him in life and gone in seconds.

RIP Diogo & Andre.

This is similar to the ex Arsenal striker Juan Antonio Reyes crash a few years ago, again in Spain, high performance Mercedes him and his cousin die in the resulting fire.

What a life, and what a period to have lived it. She'd seen it all, pretty much experienced it all, and managed to survive it and go on to produce some great music - that voice told it all without saying it.

RIP Marianne
