"As supporters of Dale, we should take a step back from the current disappointments of two tough seasons in the third tier of English football and enjoy the successes, but also recognise the continual plan to develop our own."

I'm glad that's that put to bed then, what an absolute first class vvanker

Well I find it a good read and look forward to the weekly update. Whatever he wrote there are some people on this board who would find fault with it.I sometimes think they welcome a defeat to vent more spleen! The very people who moaned about lack of communication from the club now moan about the content of the communication - it sometimes must feel as though they can't win.

Of course the Chief Executive of a business is going to emphasise the positives, I would be very disappointed if they didn't. To suggest the manager, players and staff don't care about our current situation is blatant nonsense and constant criticism of everything the club tries to do frankly doesn't help. Or do certain individuals want us to go down to prove their point?

Just like a bit of honesty and transparency, something new to DB.

Absolutely, having spent a cold Tuesday night at Spotland this week after a 14 hour day at work in the hope we lost, I was made up when their penalty rattled the back of the net, seems petty logical.

I rest my case - anything positive is ridiculed - some of us don't agree with your constant negativity - I now realise what it must be like working for the club!

The standard of writing is poor. Reflects our league position in having a chief executive "officer" of that ranking.

Anyone on this thread espousing the positives actually checked the CE "O" out?

If you make a Google search and dig a bit you'd be richly enlightened as to the standard of senior employee we now have.

Do it. Go on. It'll lift the lid better than a viagra on a stag do.

Ah yes, let's forget the mostly godawful football we've endured for 2 seasons. Let's wallow in the lazy swamp of "punching above our weight" instead of actively trying to improve. Life is so much easier that way. For some.
