Chelsea getting around the transfer embargo 08:58 - Jun 28 with 1234 viewsaleanddale

Football has gone mad.

Talk about bending the rules. Chelsea under embargo have signed a player for £45 million quid this week and can do this as he is still registered as a loan player until today.

The whole governance of football stinks of corruption and weakness rolled into one.

Yeah I saw that in my paper. One rule for the big clubs and another rule for any team out of the Premier League.

It’s because the transfer ban actually isn’t that at all - it’s a ban on registering new players. As Pulisic and Kovacic were already registered at Chelsea they’ve officially broken no rules. I agree though, seems a bit silly and makes the punishment seem rather tame!
