I have fond memories of Bellamy's Bugle. He was one of those special broadcasters who could relay boring stuff (to kids) in a way they enjoyed. WIP (saw that on twitter and found it funny).

A life well lived..
Always enjoyed his shows..he in the same way as Magnus Pyke did for science made the subject interesting..
Far too many “beige” presenters nowadays.

He also was a climate change denier, dismissed global warming as “poppycock” and said there is “no actual proof” human activity was causing a rise in temperatures! Apparently this is why he ended up out of favour with the BBC.

He ended up "out of favour" because he refused to go along with the official narrative! Once a darling of the bbc with kids and adults alike, as soon as he went down the path of attempting to determine truth from misinformation his days were numbered.
He actually said anthropogenic global warming is poppycock which it is. It's true that weather can be manipulated on a local scale simply because weather is the here and now. Climate change happens in cycles of millions and thousands of years due mostly to solar activity and given the length of time man has inhabited the earth is impossible for us to have any effect whatsoever.
Warnings about warming and cooling have been peddled over the last century depending which agenda is being pushed, only in the mid 70's were we being told an ice age was close.

Even if the vast majority of scientists are totally wrong. What is wrong with being more sustainable and breathing cleaner air?
RIP David Bellamy of course

Nothing wrong with breathing cleaner air but that's just another logical fallacy used in such arguments! Pollution has nothing to do with climate. Define "sustainable"
Vast majority of scientists? Do you mean, " vast majority of scientists working in government institutions/institutions reliant on government funding"? Because there are numerous scientists had funding removed because they refused to cowtow.

Just answer the question dirty air leads to poorer health/quality of living yes or no? Forget climate change I am not asking about that.
Anyway I am sure you are not, but the whole attitude towards using less is basically selfishness.
Which part of "nothing wrong with breathing cleaner air" don't you get? It's ***kin obvious. No one in their right mind would disagree.
You wrote of "majority of scientists" which I countered.. you ignore. You mention "sustainable".. I ask for your definition.. you ignore and instead insinuate from god knows where that I don't think cleaner air equals better quality of life.

I could post lots of links which would disagree with your 'facts'. Do you really deny that human activities are responsible for almost all of the increase in greenhouse gases in the atmosphere over the last 150 years?

Post away. If your links have any relevance I'll show you why they're wrong.
YOU do not have the right to give someone else permission to tell me what I can and can't do.
