I grew up with Rock / Metal so I would say having read the threads, Kiss, love them or hate them are a band I have seen many times lives & had tickets to see them again at the MEN before the tragedy happened.. they are one band who always give 110% stage show for their audience.
As I get older, whilst my mind is getting broader & I admit to liking Garth Brooks, for me, and yes I saw them at Maine Road for my sins, the most overrated band has to be Guns & Roses...
What have they done for the music industry, can count on one hand the amount of albums they have made, how dare he join AC/DC (got my money back for the boo camp gig)..
Might be another thread? Yes I like some Genesis but Christ, did anyone see the price of tickets? Could buy a new car for that when I was 18 😢 |  |

I agree,True Faith was truly superb but that's about it,one great single doesn't make you a great band
Eminem is really overated,My Name Is and Stan was good but then it was the same thing rehashed over again

Its not about liking them (I don't particularly though I find them boring and they take themselves far too seriously) its whether I think they are overrated, and I do. Penguins I don't dislike but they don't do much for me either. Chips are boring too unless they have the right sauce and you're hungry. | | | |

No they were called Revenge,Pottsy who currently plays alongside Peter Hook was also in the band back then,they then went on to form Monaco who had a fairly big hit with "what do you want from me" early/mid 90s I think [Post edited 10 Jul 2020 13:47]
