Indeed, Voluntary Strike off is a completely legal process, however, Googlies was incorporated in June 2020 and was still trading by 30 June 2021 therefore would be required to file company accounts. Given its traded for a year, why has it voluntarily filed to be struck off?

Unless you can point to it on the national press or the EFL's website then you are sadly making it up.

According to the EFL OADT :
"unless a Court of competent jurisdiction makes an order under that Act permitting an appointment as director of a Club;
Insolvency matters:

On 5th December 2021 you had not satisfied the debt owed to Optimus Build and had been served statutory documents.
