That should finally put to bed any debate on the formation RS intends to use.

Stats say he is a right wing back.....

My all time favourite Dale player Mr Lyndon Symmonds

They signed him from Bury as a winger when they went bust, played 1 game for Sheff U in the Prem, is 6 feet tall and born in UK to Nigerian parents.

On https://theathletic.com/3373863/2022/06/24/sheffield-united-transfers-contracts/ from June 2022 it says:

'It’s difficult not to feel sorry for the former Bury apprentice after a loan to United’s Belgian sister club Beerschot last summer did not work out. He needed his confidence restored after returning to the mothership early and a difficult full Championship debut at home to Forest in early March won’t have helped. Seriki ended the season on loan at non-League Boston United, helping the National League North (sixth tier) side to that level’s play-off final. A loan move again seems a likely option for the 2o-year-old, particularly once Bogle is back fit.'

This video shows he plays on the right. He is number 2 and scores the second goal (1:53 onwards):

Oh dear! It's been a bad week for our Rog First Hendo and now Seriki who played for Boston at Fylde in Fyldes's last season's play off semi final loss sign for Dale. Any Daleys who attended that match recall him?

We suddenly became a much bigger team. I think that's a good idea after last season.

Up the Dale - NOT for sale!
Poll: Is it coming home?

Yep, and a good thing too, the ball spends a lot of time in the air in this division. Its fine that we try to play on the floor, many teams don't, so if its the air, you have to be able to win it and get it down.

Just had a quick look at a Blades forum. General consensus on Seriki is he is promising, but needs a loan to get experience.

One of their fans pointed out that Dale could field a full back four who have played for Sheff U: Femi Seriki, Sam Graham, EEL and Aidy White.

Not joining their forum to point this out, but they could play a back four of former Dale players: George Broadbent, Chris Basham, Jack O'Connell and RND... :)

Seems that he was raved about ar Boston. Look at the tweets mentioned in the thread. 'The Cheatcode of Non League football's the comments do raise my hype around this signing. Looks like a shrewd loan

This is the One, I've waited for
