It's only been two seasons but there's been a few....

The double over Southampton.
O'Grady's double against the club he wasn't good enough for at Boundary Park.
Playing Sheffield Wednesday off the park at Spotland last season.
Giving bury two good hidings.
JLAA's strike Vs Huddersfield.

Anymore??

Our 2-2 draw with Brighton - IMO the best side seen at Spotland during our time in L1.

Tutte & Grimes strikes at the Galpharm this year.

Notts County away last season after about twenty minutes. At that moment in time we were streets ahead of a club who had lorded it over us a year earlier, and they knew it.

We were a proper League One team who were comfortable in everything we did and that game was won as soon as it started.

We'll not mention how things have changed since.

Try not to leave it 35 years next time.

* Southampton away last season and Jones' strike inparticular.

* Oldham away last season, Chris O'Grady making mincemeat out of their back line.

* Doing the double over the Buckets

Also, JLAA scoring after 11 seconds against Peterborough. Fergie's face was a picture.

Ultimately, just watching the best Dale team I can remember playing football I dreamed about us playing for decades.

Now it's back to reality and the grindstone of Division 4.

On a personal level, being able to write about some different clubs!

On the pitch, the whole occasion of Southampton away.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

first half against the wendies at Spotland, best 45mins ive witnessed from any Dale team, at times was hard to imagine who we were watching, brilliant stuff.

Life is a game of fate.

Agree, I can remember how annoyed I was that we were only 2-0 up - we were simply brilliant. The end of the Birmingham game (I know it wasn't in the league) and the end of the Peterboro home game after the 4 minutes of clapping/chanting and Craig had just scored. Felt very proud to be a Dale fan despite us winning neither game! Does anyone have a video of the injury time vs Peterboro, great atmosphere.

Brighton at home. The highest quality of football by both the participating teams that I've seen in 50 years of going to Spotland.

JL's goal against Huddersfield probably has to be the best individual moment, being under the cosh all game almost, hanging onto a 1-0, and seeing him run straight through and slotting it home, the relief and joy was just amazing, unforgetable night.

Charlton at home last year fantastic too, fully deserved win.

Life is a game of fate.

Thought when JLAA lashed that one in versus Walsall last week that was gonna be a moment to remember. Alas, it wasn't to be.

I agree with OD and SD though, the Wednesday game topped them all. Little Matty Done was absolutely incredible and we were walking all over them. The fact their fans had more of a 'we're too big for this league' vibe than Charlton and Southampton made it that little bit sweeter.

Tangled up in blue.

Southampton away (and home).
Brighton at home.

It's chilling when you think of how the club turned from being able to play as it did against Brighton to the shower of cack it is today.
