Hoping to see loads of Dale fans at NYS next Saturday. If anyone needs any help or advice regarding the trip let me know.
Back in 2012 Dale were the first visiting side to win a league game at NYS (3-2).

I remember that game, from the horrible Coleman team. Our left back McIntyre (?) scored the winner if I remember rightly. I remember really liking the New York Stadium too.

Will be my first visit to your new ground last time I was in Rotherham we played you at Millmoor and we beat you four two I believe with Le Fondre getting a couple of goals. What are your stewards like? Where is the nearest pub and is the NYS a better matcday experience for a Rotherham fan then Millmoor

Designated away pub is the Bridge across the road from the train station but seeing as the ground is a 5 minute walk from the town centre there's loads of other pubs, eateries etc to go at & to answer the Ranger's question it's a million times better experience at NYS than Millmoor, there's no comparison.

In the league.

We lost 4-0 in the FA Cup in 1998.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

I was mascot for the 5 - 3 win in 95 but that was at Spotland.

Be a difficult match for us this one!

i heard that one of your players was "sledging" the Shrewsbury keeper before your recent game with them..i think hes at Shrews on loan from Man Utd and was bigging himself up on social media..i believe it certainly unsettled him during the game that you won!!!

It was part of a good cup run, according to Barrow.

He probably saw the fact that we didn’t get beat at home in the first tie as a positive. He needed all the straws he could grasp at that point.

The Bridge is a decent pub and is my normal pit stop when visiting the NYS, it is also a proper footballs fan pub and I would recommend it to all football fans, especially us from the Dale.

I remember the FA cuptie that we won in 2013 and which gave us that home tie versus Leeds.
That was a genuine giantkilling act.

Realistically, looking at the remaining fixtures, this will most likely be the toughest match yet to play. We still have Shrewsbury and Wigan left to play at home but our home form is relatively good. Other than those 2 I don't see a match as hard as this one for the rest of the season.

Where’s best to watch the early kick off game before the match?
