OK, lets start by giving credit - somewhere, someone is trying to encourage business. Sadly its being done in such a haphazard and uncordinated way it possibly does more harm than good.
Instead of all these 'one shot' idea of the day things that emerge in an unclear or confusing way where is the coordinated marketing strategy - the strategic plan through which ideas will be generated? As the various threads on wifi, womens admission etc show - it is laughable.
Question #1- is there anyone in the club administration with qualifications in developing and implementing marketing strategies? Question #2 If the answer is yes have these individuals ever been employed in the development and implemtation of marketing strategies? Question #3If yes, have these activities ever led to significant increases in the revenues/turnover of the organistion in which they worked.
Incidentally I wonder whether the 'tenner for a woman' (Sounds like something I used to get down the Leeds Road in Huddersfield) is strictly legal. Gender discrimination anyone? |  | | |

Indeed, and I willingly second your comments about the Football in the Community team. They work tirelessly, almost unnoticed, in the background and do a fantastic job promoting the club in the wider community and in many locations. I'm sure there are supporters currently attending Spotland simply because of their work.
Rarely do we hear of what they do (excellent articles in the programme apart) but as you say, they deserve the highest praise. | |
