A real blast from the past in more ways than one - Laurie Calloway for Shrewsbury. A corner was headed out to him about 5 yards outside the penalty area at the Sandy Lane end, He caught it left footed full on the volley and it went like a bullet into the right hand side of the goals and stuck in the net behind the stanchion ! No arguing wether that crossed the line or not ! The Dale goalie had to punch the ball to get it out.
Anybody else remember that one ?
