In this instance it’s easy to make the correct quick judgement. By his own admission he knew he was gay before he deceived her into marriage. He then proceeded to continue deceiving her in a sham marriage for 27 years. She is a victim of a cruel deception, and he deserves no respect or sympathy whatsoever.
