It’s alright, but as I put on another thread, if they (Premier league) don’t club together and do something big as a whole financially then it shows once and for all the whole thing is a rotten pile of dog’s arse shavings, and fully worthy of having the nation’s collective piss chucked over them all.

The average premier league wage is apparently 61k, extrapolate that over a 25 man squad in 20 premier league teams if the players just gave up 1 weeks wages, Thst would equal over £30m of funding available to support the nhs or whatever. If they don’t do something it’ll be shameful.

I agree with you the players should do something, but dont forget £61 k a week isnt in their pockets, so more like £15 million a week

The clubs could maybe tell them to take 8 weeks unpaid leave.

Leeds players have deferred their wages so the other staff at the club can be paid. Hopefully other clubs follow suit

With all the abuse our owner gets and all the praise that the multi billionaire owners at other clubs seem to get we should take a look at elsewhere and see that it isn't quite so rosy, its good to see that Leeds payers have deferred their wages so that non playing staff can get paid, I wonder why their owner Andrea Radrizzani didnt just shell out the £500 k it would probably have cost to make sure his employees are fine.

I dont think anyone particularly lavishes praise on other owners, there are some very good ones, like the Leicester ones, but the simple question is this. Are we in a better position now than when Goa took over?
