That is harsh on them both, Reed did a lot of work in rebuilding Staplewood and the academy structure etc and Krueger came in at a difficult time when the infrastructure of the board had been non existent and not even the owner could get access, he then oversaw a rebuilding of the team and three successive top 8 appearances and two European campaigns and a cup final.

Krueger’s approach to dealing with the fans was terrible. I am actually proud of what Lallana achieved, he was a Saint through and through and had served his time here and deserved a shot at the big time, Ok he didn't quite go about it the right way, but he did deserve a big move after 6 years in our first team
