He is an inconsistent performer wherever he plays.
He never plays anywhere near a full season.
He always has an injury or 2, every season.
He has a bad attitude.
He thinks he is better than he is.
He plays the odd good game and milks it.
He is more worried about his social media status that football.
He has the ability, but is nowhere near consistent enough. He has had a few great games for us - Palace away on the opening day 3 seasons back - had commentators touting him for a move to bigger clubs on what ws probably his debut for us ?, he had Pogba in his pocket in the 2-2 at St Marys and was superb away to WBA, but has also had many poor games.
Maybe it was his attitude or work rate that convinced Ralph to loan him out - or perhaps he was told to go on loan to save the club some money on his wages and because he would command a decent loan fee ?
Ignore all the media speculation. We shall see what happens in a few months' time. After all, Hoedt claimed that there were a queue of teams lining up to buy him last year and look how that worked out for him. | |
