Mikes and Andys Bitterne Pk Triangle decent though haven't been to both for a few years.
Re the OP Ron, bit disappointed in Sarisbury chippie after being told best around.
As for JJ Henrys, only used couple couple of times in last few years and only live just up the road, thrown half the chips away each time. How they've got to National top 10's in the country God only knows, gone downhill.
£8.50 (Wembley prices), for large sausage £3.50 (poor quality, don't do small sausage) and large chips£5 ain't cheap is it? |  | | |

I have to admit I haven't been to JJ Henry's for quite a long time, so they can come off the list!
The one on Barnes Lane, Holy Hill's Finest used to be really good when a family from Portugal ran it,
but since they went back home it's sadly gone downhill quite a bit. | | | |

I live five minutes walk from the Hamble Lane one and didn’t rate it, always used the Lowford one until it closed down recently. Might have to give the Hamble one another go. | | | |

I used one in Kirby, Liverpool whenever I was in there on a ship. Every time I went, even with a two month gap, the front window was always boarded up, different boards every time… | | | |
