| England 11:40 - Nov 15 with 2087 views | Tonyfromdk | What’s everyone’s thoughts about the World Cup next year? I think we’ve changed as a squad, the German arrogance and belief is showing through on the pitch Watching us recently, I’ve seen the same will and spirit the Germans have had for years. Tuchels talk of”brotherhood” amongst player’s is exactly why Germany were so successful. Do you think we could actually win it next year ? | | | | |

Probably no one will beat Spain in the knockouts unless its on pens. The heat and humidity will be a huge factor and play into the hands of those who like a slow tempo and possession football (as world cups usually do). It will be a different sport to football in a european winter with PL style physicality and tackles. This works against England but we now have players who can mix it with the best technical players in the world, so we have a chance.

Get drawn in an easy group and beat a load of no hopers. Fold at first exposure to any decent team. Return home with tales of “ if only.” Exactly the same as every major competition since 1966. It’s the English professional footballers way. Over paid Serial Losers. [Post edited 17 Nov 11:16]

Victories for either Saints or England seem to make some people on here very unhappy. Personally, I'm enjoying supporting 2 winning teams. Saints' first back-to-back victories in more than 550 days + an all-time record of 11 consecutive victories for England = a great set of results. [Post edited 17 Nov 17:45]

You’ve forgotten , we now have a German as our manager Some player’s think that they have the right to play . Even though Southgate improved us , we were always hitting a dead end. Maybe Tuchel can bring what’s been missing for the last many years. Thats when sulking player’s will get benched. [Post edited 18 Nov 17:53]

It's all about what we do in the matches that really count. We don't have a great history in them, but if Tuchel can do what great managers do, it could be what makes the difference. I think this will be our last major tournament with Kane (though I said that before the last Euros....) so we need to make the most of having him, as he is a phenomenon, and go all the way.

England will win a couple of games leading to mass hysteria in the media and people gathering at fan zones so they can throw beer over each other until they lose against the first half decent team they come up against.

The Key is Kane,he is one of the best forwards in the world at the moment. There's something about this England side,Tuchel is a clever manager, his win % wherever he has been is impressive. There is strength in depth and players look confident on the ball. I think we will do well.
