After 61 minutes of action so far this season. Good work if you can get it.

| Another JCS thread on 22:31 - Nov 26 with 3882 views | Hooping_Mad | Looked like a very low impact game, Hamer aside. Would have thought 20 minutes near the end would been reasonable. I mean they started him and left him for an hour after basically nothing so I don't think I'm being unreasonable to question it. | |

| Another JCS thread on 22:34 - Nov 26 with 3752 views | JamesB1979 | He played 60 minutes for first time in 11 months. I think playing him again 4 day later may not be the smartest move | | | |
| Another JCS thread on 22:34 - Nov 26 with 3814 views | Superhoops2808 | Why are we even criticising a sensible approach to bringing a player back who has had very little playing time - I dont get it. We got burned by rushing the likes of Willock back Would much prefer to see him being managed properly so that when he does come back we get a significant amount of game time from him. Just another thing some people are looking to criticise the club. If we get another 60 minutes out of him on Saturday then brilliant but in fairness our back 4 looked good tonight | | | |

Willock came back a shadow of his former self, not the example I would cite. I take the point but as stated an hour from nothing, then no option to use approprately if wanted or needed. A managed return usually is a build up of minutes not an hour then nothing. It's not a world ending issue but do we really think this was planned? I'm not so sure.

A lot of the time we don't have more than one game in a week though. It would be fairly normal under those circumstances to play him an hour one Saturday and a full game the next. That's just what we're doing here isn't it?
| Another JCS thread on 07:03 - Nov 27 with 2851 views | numptydumpty | We had Cook and Dunne in the centre, Mbengue on the right, who could switch to the centre with Morgan and sub at right back if so, and also Morrison on the bench as well. JCS played 60 minutes a few days ago, with another game a couple days on. And also he didn't exactly have the greatest game last Saturday. You could say if you looked at it harshly, that he had a part in the conceding of both goals. Stephan has proven also throughout, he seems to make a lot of changes every game. I think JCS will be in the squad on Saturday, unsure whether he will start, but I would say even the most pessimistic, wouldn't say he was not playing, because he has had a recurrence of his injury. A statement on Saturday will be that he has got injured in the warm up before the game, getting off the bus !!!!!!! We need some kind of methodology training in departing from the team coach.Maybe JCS refuses to thank the driver. Bad form. Expect a new appointment to be announced soon..... After Cook and Dunne keeping a clean sheet yesterday I’m not sure whether changing the centre backs yet again would be doing us any favours. | | | |

| Another JCS thread on 16:14 - Nov 27 with 2337 views | LazyFan | This game was a classic Champ affair of running around like headless chickens. JCS would defo have got injured playing in that game, no, he needs to be rested. Same with Poku. Get 'em fit as a butcher's dog, then get 'em fit some more. Then play them in 20m, 30m, 45m and then 60m, 70m and so on. This is what we did with Chair. Doing 60m for JCS was a considerable risk, and we did not entirely get away with it. Just as worring is that Vale is injured and we have seen how long he can be out for. | |

"Willock came back a shadow of his former self, not the example I would cite" Are you being serious? After his very serious hamstring injury in the game at the City Ground the season before, he scored a brilliant goal in his first appearance of the season in the first home game against Middlesbrough and Beale was so desperate to keep him on the pitch, he kept him on for far longer than the hour he should have played and was advised to by the medical staff because Beale "wanted to get this show on the road". Because of that he missed the next three games. He came back, played brilliantly and scored five goals in eight straight games but Beale flogged him into the ground playing him for 81, 88, 53, 81, 78, 90 and 90 minutes before the inevitable happened in the eighth game at Bramall Lane just after he'd scored and the hamstring went again at the start of the second half. After that injury in Sheffield Willock, whilst he was with us, never fully trusted his hamstring again I think and seemed like he was playing with the brakes on.

I was reffering to his return after sheffield, why didn't he trust it? Our medical team is my bet.
