There are plenty of examples of players from Premier League youth sets ups getting into other teams and succeeding, but there are probably far more who end up way lower down the league.
Remember Phil Ifil who we had on loan from Spurs in 2007/08, been through all the England levels up to U20, played 3 times for Spurs went on loan to us and Millwall then ended up at Colchester and Dagenham, couldnt get a league club after the age of 27.
There was also a winger about 10 years ago cant remember his name who played about twice on loan from Spurs and then faded into obscurity |  |
