Surprise, surprise Ingsy is injured 10:31 - Jan 24 with 858 viewsGRIM

Danny Ings only managed 20 minutes playing for West Ham before getting injured & is now sidelined for a few matches.
When was the last time he managed to play for 90 minutes.

When was the last time any striker plays 90 mins? They are usually subbed late on to waste time.

His appearance record the past few seasons is actually pretty good.

I agree with you sledger.
We saw Ingsy's true colours when he jumped ship & went to Villa for mega bucks.
We picked him up off the Liverpool scrapheap & resurrected his career for him.
When he came to us he said it was a dream come true to play for the club he supported as a lad (he was born in Winchester).
His dad used to bring him along to watch the village team that I played for.
These overpaid egotistic footballers have very short memories.

Great business lol.

How much did we spunk on replacing him? Mara £12m + loan fee for Broja £15m for Armstrong

Even when hardly ever being first choice this season for Villa he's managed 7 goals to date which a few more than Mara and Armstrong

Yeah, superb business that.

Not talking about the business side of it.
I was referring to Ingsy's attitude.
The fact that we wasted the 25M we got for him on a bunch of inadequate replacements is now coming back to haunt us.

Ings is a mercenary who follows the £money£ and is in the twilight of his career. Having shelled out £15M for him - plus £125,000 per week in wages - he's now going to miss at least 4 weeks due to injury.

I'd have been gutted if Saints had re-signed him - only to lose him 20 minutes later. West Ham will now be looking for another striker and all the extra cost that involves.

And I couldn't give a sh1t if Ings has a Saints tattoo or not. He follows the money - not the club.

'Attitude'? I never cheer that at football. I prefer goals.

Do any of you morons think any PL player is playing 'for the club' and not money?
