 | Forum Reply | What is the coldest, wettest you have been at a football ground? at 11:46 11 May 2026
Coldest: Blackburn away this season was freezing. I found Blackburn as a town very strange. Walking around pre match there is literally no one there. Wettest: Chelsea away 2021. We actually played quite well until JWP got sent off and we lost 3-1 I think. Walked through Brompton cemetery and it absolutely p1ssed it down. Hottest: Spurs away last season the way that ground is built the away end becomes an complete sun trap. I spent twenty mins of the second half in the concourse partly due to heat and partly cause we were so sh1t. |

And another thing, in response to something mentioned on here or another thread about this. Apparently whistleblowers have said we've done this before. In the Ipswich home game, in the build up to their second goal, they ensured the ball went out for a corner. This is a clear sign a team has a corner routine, Arsenal do this all the time. We didn't stop Ipswich getting this corner. If we are spying, we really aren't very good at it. Or, of course, it's not as serious as its been built up to be |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is the alleged spy was recording on his phone but also had equipment able to record Kim Hellberg's voice. I mean long range recording equipment - isn't that stuff usually, well, quite big. You know, sort of so big that you can't be very subtle with it. Plus I'm not even sure if you could sync up such a recording device if true. I'm struggling to get my head round this and figure out the logistics which could result in it being true. |

Fair enough though I doubt the players mindset will be effected as you suggest. Eckert has built a strong mentality in the squad. At the end of the day, "Spygate" or not, there are two very important games of football to be played. That is what I think and hope the players will be thinking, and what fans should be thinking too. Worrying about this whole thing is pointless. Just focus on those two games when they come |
 | Forum Reply | Is Damian Downs Our Worst Ever Signing ? at 10:17 5 May 2026
Sulemana should be up there. Our record signing, somewhere in the region £22 million, and all we got was about 5 goals and some backflips in a dead rubber against Liverpool. Not helped by the fact that the bloke was completely talentless. Though to be fair, they were some good backflips. |

The problem is going into the playoffs we really want to be 4th as playing the 2nd leg away could seriously f#ck us over (see Derby 2007). Yes players are tired but we don't want to be complacent which is why I think any big rotations are a bit of a risk. Players like Quarshie, Long and Kayi-Sanda (if he's even at the club I thought he was on loan) are the sort who could lose you a game. |
 | Forum Reply | Who is your Player of the Season? at 10:22 30 Apr 2026
Literally all of these players have made exceptional contributions over the season. Larin and Stewart should also be in with a shout IMO. But the clear and obvious player of the season is Mads Roerslev [Post edited 30 Apr 10:23]

 | Forum Reply | Do we want to go up? at 11:10 9 Apr 2026
If we get a solid CB next to THB to support him then he will be good enough. Might be able to get away with Manning and Welington. Maybe get another striker as we know Stewart's minutes need to be managed and as good as he is we can't rely on him for a full season. If we get good prices for the deadwood out on loan (Sugawara, BBD, etc) then getting quality into the team is achievable. |

The uncontrolled immigration is, by my understanding, a result of a poor Brexit deal that meant we left the Dublin agreement: a piece of EU legislation that gave us the power to return asylum seekers to EU member states. It also assisted with reuniting families. Read this article about it, see what you think. https://commonslibrary.parliam I'm not sure its some sort of masterplan for control, though I think it's fair to be suspicious of this, I just think its very poor legislation. |
