Pep Clotet 19:48 - Jul 8 with 3170 viewsexiledinenglandjack

Didn't know a lot about him when he came in but from reading a few articles I am starting to seriously be impressed with his attitude and hope he assists Gary well in the coming weeks and months.

Article I was reading is this http://www.swanseacity.net/news/article/pep-usa-1-1727173.aspx

Have to admit the more I hear and read about Pep and his methods the more impressed I keep getting, I think that we are very lucky to have this guy working along side the Monkster

Poll: should Leon still be the main man in midfield

What I really like is the fact we seem to continue to look for people with drive, who aren't just coasting along for the tidy paypacket with no energy or ideas. The day we go looking for football journeyman is the day we slide. It is that intensity that will keep us up, long may it continue.

A million miles away from the cowboy approach to last year.

Well done Huw/the board and Garry for appointing him

Yes agreed - and very well done again Huw and the board. Maybe not the easiest decision to make at the time - but an essential decision for our club to keep progressing. Frankly, looks like a massive improvement on what went on before. Professional.

Strangely had a night on the town with him at the start of the year, not realising who he was.

Has a very strange entourage following him around...

I wonder where the idea to bring him in came from... fair play the board have got some foresight

Fair play to Gary.. knows his onions about preparation first..

I think they had to as he's the only one with an A license. A happy coincidence that he seems perfect

Disappointed to see that Warwick hasn't picked up on "world wind" yet.

But this Clotet fella has quite a decent pedigree for a young chap. Fair play to him.

Does anyone know if he's still involved in the Academy restructuring too or does he just concentrate on the first team now?

First team only

From what I hear Dave Adams is more than capable of doing the job...if he's given the tools of course!

I did read Dave Adam's CV posted somewhere online and it certainly sounded promising.

I recently read Matthew Whitehouse's book "The Way Forward" and it seems that Dave Adams shares many of these methods for young player development.

By the way, "The Way Forward" is a great book and well worth reading for anyone interested in youth football development.
