When I started cycling a few summers ago I covered a good amount of ground and loved it. I was away for a month or so, and that interrupted the cycling. The next time I went out was in early December, if I remember correctly. Snow forecast for the next day. Went out in similar gear to what I had worn in the summer, thinking that the physical exertion would keep me warm. Bad mistake. Got halfway into the planned outward leg and turned around thinking "F*ck this!"
