One of the youngsters in work was trying to sell me on the benefits of that contraption. To be honest nothing is quicker or easier to use than the stove pot. PS: “Grand Dad.”

People who the moment a band comes on, whip out their mobile phones and spend the rest of the night gazing into them. Thankfully the gigs I go to the audiences are a bit more respectful of the artists.

I can't remember who it was but when they took to the stage they told everyone to put the phones away otherwise they were off. Good on them I say!
