| Finland v Wales : Matchday thread on 16:26 - Sep 3 with 1151 views | KarlHRummenigge | Fabulous thread, bravo. Our defence and front line looks strong. Sorely missing Ramsey and Allen in the middle. Wonder if it's time for Bale to drop deeper and do a Giggs to shore up the midfield. A level playing field with 4xW/L/D. At least it's not mid-winter. Helsinki, the coldest place I've ever played. | | | |

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Absolutely nothing wrong with Wales opening goal. Ref disallows it. I'm watching with no explanations, at all. VAR? [Post edited 3 Sep 2020 19:53]

Really don't know. Incredibly absurd decision.

Totally bossing them, in all aspects. More of the same, with heightened concentration in our defensive third.

| Finland v Wales : Matchday thread on 20:38 - Sep 3 with 985 views | AnotherJohn | Bale seems to me to have lost the sharpness he had a couple of years ago. He is another who seems more interested in his inflated Spanish salary than regular football. Hope he proves me wrong by scoring a goal. | | | |

Moore grabbed the defender and dragged him away, as he made his move to head it.

| Finland v Wales : Matchday thread on 20:39 - Sep 3 with 983 views | KarlHRummenigge | A more than decent performance against a well organised, determined outfit. Set-up, ongoing tactics and motivation in good order, fair play. "Excellent play by Wales, all round" says Collins (and Gabbidon during commentary in response to his colleague's comment re this being a 50/50 game so far. Top man) | | | |

That's not quite accurate, he did touch him, but you could hardly say he "dragged him away" Disallowing that goal was a bit harsh IMO.

He's understandably rusty. However he has that rare gift of appearing disinterested/off the pace, then confounds their midfield and defence with electric brilliance and outofthiswordly finishing

Dull bas***d dragged their defender to the ground before the ball was crossed.

It's bang on butt. He grabbed him and pulled him away from the goal, whilst propelling himself towards the goal to put his swede on the incoming cross. Not that i care mind, the goal was disallowed and rightly so.
