I think we have got the quality to do it,,otherwise we wouldn't play this way....guaranteed in training we would be practising g this leading up to games if the opposition are pressing teams,we would have defenders against pressing attackers and couple midfielders .and couple receiving midfielders and playing no more then 2 touch until it breaks down and then start again.. It would be drilled into them,,its all about movement off the ball to receive it and know where your pass is going before you get it. |  | | |

It is high risk reward, which many teams are now obliged to do or coaches risk ridicule.
I think we have the quality, where it gets riskier is when relationships between players haven't quite forged. For the goal, Bennett had already pushed on, expecting the ball to be cleared and was surprised/disappointed when he looked back and it hadn't. I doubt Lati will ever make that mistake again. | |

I honestly don't think that was the problem,because every team and squad I been in have always dril!ed us to always give an option to the man on the ball.if he pushed out and left the last man on the ball exposed then he deserves be dropped.should never get out until safe to do so, and never take his eye off it either,if he had to look back...should have dropped 3 or 4 yards, to give an option or create space instead going forward when ball not safe | | | |

Agreed. To be fair to Bennett, he had only pushed on mentally (slightly), positionally he was almost fine, just caught off guard by Lati's attempted clearance/dink.
We were still a bit complacent after half time. Maybe a big launch forward was best option and give us time to get back on the front foot. | |

Yes sometimes you got take sting out game when the opposition got you under pressure,,one we was always told to do if the opposition are really putting pressure on with attack after attack,to take the tempo out game is go down fake injury..get seen ,then couple minutes later another do it,,you be surprised how much it takes the tempo from the other team,and you slowly come back into game, | | | |
