I'll say the same thing to you as I pointed out to Kilky, Wales didn't exist as one country when the Saxons and Angles came. Those lands belonged to individual tribes who were pushed back into what is today called Wales, in doing so they often fought other Welsh tribes and stole their lands.

If Kilky is happy for an independent Wales to become largely irrelevant then fair enough. Without team GB and the government support what will Welsh athletes do? I suppose they could turn to taking drugs to be better. Maybe the Senedd will throw millions at them to try and prove indy Wales is better, that'd be more money to borrow. I suppose that'd be fine until interest rates go back up
