Yes I don't think as a society we pay enough tax and tax is a good way of spreading wealth.


We live in a country that sees subtantially increasing the price of alcohol,cigarettes and gambling as an assault on the pleasures of the working man.

I have advocated doubling the price of a pint ,for example, not adding a few p to it. That caused uproar,a did suggesting doubling the price of fags. People then quoted the Prohibition era to me.utter drivel of course.

We have a lethal obesity problem this gutless government who talk big but dont deliver. Sugary drinks,Fast Food outlets must be made luxury items instead of the must haves.

This can be done via tax.
