Is correct. Regional devolution but policy is to maintain the Union.

Labour for independence is a trick to take votes off the SNP and Plaid, I'm sure there are people that vote Labour that would be pro independence but gaining independence directly through the Labour party is not going to happen unless there is a huge change of position through England being seen by Labour people in Scotland and Wales as a lost cause and Scottish and Welsh Labour breaking away from Westminster Labour.

For once we agree.

A cheap trick is all it is.
Labour Party lies again.
It is the disrespect they have for their own voters that takes the breath away.
Their voters did not vote for that policy, it wasn’t put forward pre-election.
Left wingers who wanted to take the country towards independence voted Plaid.
The Labour voters have been conned, again.

Labour are a right wing unionist party just like the Conservatives, Labour are trying to pretend they are a similar party to what they were back in the 50s which is not the case, as has been noted by some, Labour and Conservatives are just different cheeks of the same arse.

To be honest Trampie if you want independence the Labour party are your only hope. Plaid will never get enough seats to carry it through.

I doesn't matter what I want, I don't vote for what is best for my own personal circumstances, I vote for what I think is best for Wales, often they are two different things in the short term anyway.
