Sport is great.

2 more golds for team GB once again leaving all the EU trailing far behind . 4th in medal table . Once again shows the benefits of a strong United Kingdom with the National lottery funding our competitors.

Why do some people hate their own country that they cannot be pleased we are so successful.

When England treats Cymru and Scotland with respect and equality ?
Until then, feck Team GB 👍

If Team GB threatens Wales national teams participation, then i don't support it.

Gb is not a country, therefore it should not have a team.

Yeah we do. We can either accept Wales is part of the UK by democratic mandate ( we take part in all elections signifying our acceptance) OR we can move to another country and apply for citizenship.

There's always a choice.

For those that love the EU I'm sure one of their member states would be glad to have you.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Cymru is not part of uk by democratic mandate. That is clear.

Cymru has suffered an 800 year occupation.

We will have Welsh Citizenship within the EU within a decade.

Feel free to move to Brexidioty Greater England if you want to stay a subject rather than become a citizen.

Wrong! Wales is part of Uk. Only 14% of Welsh electorate want independence, the other 86% are fully committed to the strength , better quality of life, and higher standard of living being part of the United Kingdom gives Wales..

Wales has not suffered 800 years of occupation any more than Britain has suffered over 1,000 years of Norman Occupation.

Wales economy would not allow it to meet current rules for new new EU states.

Wales voted to leave the EU. Accept the democratic mandate of the Welsh people to leave the undemocratic EU.

Why would you reject moving to the EU utopia were I am sure your undoubted talents, drive and of course willingness to obey dictats from the unelected EU commissioners.

Why would an independent Wales you so desire surrender it new found freedom only to surrender it to the EU .

Old English migrants, now living in Wales, voted Cymru out.

EU is modern.
UK is Eton mess, false exceptionalism, and Isolation.

Eu is an antiquated undemocratic dynasaur.

Can any Welsh nationalist give me a rational reason why Wales would leave the UK and lose £12 billion a year in UK subsidies and join the EU where it would get £250 million a year?

Wales currently has 8% of Westminster MPs but would have only 1% of EU MEPs and no say at all on the appointment on the undemocratic EU commissioners.

That is why 86% of the Weslh population want to remain in the UK.

I guess you could equate the small number of Welsh nationalist to the antivaxers who ignore all the evidence and would rather suffer .

Not sure any supporter of Swansea, Cardiff, Newport and Wrexham would want yo play in the Welsh football pyramid..

Not sure Brexity types like you wanted English clubs out of the European cup when they voted Brexit.
It didn’t happen, did it ?

Likewise clubs from an Indy Wales would stay in the Football League.

Its almost like football and politics are different things …. Amazing …

The people that live in Cymru will decide what future they want.
I think Ireland have shown us whats possible.

You do not seem to realise we have not left Europe. It is EUFA that runs the Europe Cup competitions not the EU . You do seem easily confused.

86% of my fellow Welsh men wanted to remain part of the UK that is a vast majority.
PC SHARE of the vote actually fell in the last senedd elections to 20%.

I agree Team GB is showing the way.
Well done to them, its great to see.

Team Cymru will make it even better for welsh athletes.
Imagine that dragon flag and that incredible anthem.

Makes GSTQ look like a very shabby effort.
Tbh I think Team England should dump it as well.

Maybe they could use John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ … 🤷‍♂️… or something by Sir Cliff …🤔

68% wanting a referendum does not mean the majority want to leave the UK.

An independent poll held by Reuters held in APRIL found 43% would vote to leave the UK.

Their will be a civil war if NI is forced to join ROI.

I think a United Ireland is inevitable, the demographics are changing and the projections are that the Nationalist population will eventually overtake the Unionists. As it stands, approximately 49% will vote to stay in the UK, 43% to leave with 8% undecided.
Next years NI elections will probably result in a Sinn Fein win and a Sinn Fein First Minister.

I don’t think the DUP have come out of the Brexit negotiations covered in glory and to a degree they’ve been thrown under a bus by Boris over the border in the Irish Sea.

If there’s a groundswell of support amongst the majority of the population to have a reunited Ireland then that’s their call, but there’s most certainly a potential for violence.

The GFA guarantees the people in the north of Ireland a border poll, when there is a demand.
The will of the people, a democratic vote.

So your position is …….. this is actually a bad thing and when these brave people vote to rejoin the EU as part of a united Ireland then you believe that a threat of gun violence is the correct response ?

Luckily the people of the north of Ireland will not be intimidated.
Ireland will be united as night follows day.

They already have the freedom to achieve freedom.

The DUP got used and abused by the Tories, and thrown under a big red bus.
A bunch of near simpletons, not understanding the politics of the time.

I dont believe they represent the best of the protestant people of the north of Ireland.
New enlightened leadership will emerge.
