| One for Keith and Mods 17:53 - Sep 11 with 5451 views | onehunglow | Is this site about debate or what Does it mean debate only if opinions seen to be negative are allowed or not. We are seeing hate posts my way because I do not like the way things are right now. Winston is in full hate mode and getting away with stuff you said wasn’t allowed. Why do I have to tolerate this garbage Do we really have to sing from the same hymn sheet or not. Is it really this bad. Debate means two sides and without it ,life is nothing. Right now, nobody can guarantee anything lathered is hope,no more. no less too. [Post edited 11 Sep 2021 17:54]

| One for Keith and Mods on 08:30 - Sep 14 by Dr_Parnassus | My God, am I expected to really reply to every point of this incessant rambling? Ok... deep breath... It is ridiculous yes, I am amazed that is a new concept for you. I think it used to be a regular weekly thing slating the managers comments about the match which was the opposite to what everyone else saw. You have changed that. What you said is ''we all agree results are poor''. Now you are asking me for a quote for someone who says results were ''good''. There is a very large jump between the two. This week I was posting on here discussing our results with someone saying that he believed the results so far are acceptable. ''Evo'' the username or something like that. He clearly didn't think they were poor. The performance vs Hull was not poor in your opinion, of course. It depends what you constitute a good performance, I didn't think it was good. It was a slight improvement on the rubbish we have seen so far, but the main issues were still there. I am not changing any words, I am asking you for what context you are asking. You keep pretending I have said ''he's out of time'', but said nothing of the sort. So what ''time'' are you referencing? I have not once suggested he should be sacked, the ''time'' to which I refer to is regarding accountability of performances. I don't act clever at all, I post how I post. If you perceive me as clever then excellent, must be putting my point across sufficiently well then. No, me giving my view on how awful we have been is not for the benefit of posters on here to agree with. Most agree that he needs to be given time for results... can you shut up about that now too? Doesn't work like that does it champ, these forums are to exchange views. These are mine, you will just have to deal with it. I have no idea what I would do if it was up to me, probably introduce some targets and KPI's like I have already told you. I would imagine that is what they did with Bob Bradley at a similar stage. If he can turn it around then great, if not then we would have very little choice than to look for someone who can deliver what we want. I have no idea what the club are doing, they may well be in complete dreamland like some of our fans, away with the fairies pretending all will be fine because we have the MK Dons manager at the helm. I don't know them, so can't say. There may have been some I have missed in your barrage of verbiage, but as you ignore most of my answers anyway I am sure it wont be too much of a miss. Edit - just read this one.... What vitriol have I aimed at the manager? Can you point any out? Specifics please as it sounds like another thing you made up... Cheers [Post edited 14 Sep 2021 8:37]

Results can be poor, but acceptable. Our results are poor. Any loss is clearly a poor result in this division, as all games are essentially winnable. But it can also be acceptable in the circumstances. There is context. 0-0 against Hull at home is a poor result, but it is definitely acceptable at this time, due to all the extenuating circumstances and the improved performance. Happy to clear that up for you. You have said that you don't believe he should be given more time. You continue to say it in your sly little ways, without providing actual quotes, so people can't pick you up on them. You are arguing with posters who think RM should be given more time, and saying that other managers didn't need time, so why should RM get time. You may not have said you "don't think he should be given time" in those exact words, but that's what you are insinuating. To say you said "nothing of the sort" is ridiculous. You may not have said those exact words, but your words were clearly OF THE SORT. If not, then it's clearly just for a reaction from other people. Yes, most agree he should be given time, correct. Yet you don't believe he should be given time. Yet, you have no idea what should be done, apart from give him some KPIs. You have absolutely no idea what to do apart from slag off the manager. You really should be slagging off the guys who haven't put these KPIs in place. I'm sure that will change everything! If only we had someone like you in at CEO. KPIs are the way forward people!!! Stand back....a new era in football is upon us. Set KPIs and improve results immediately! No manager will ever need time again! Set KPIs and see improved results from day 1. MONEY BACK GUARANTEE! Strewth mate, you could be onto something here. Get on Dragon's Den if I were you! PS. I definitely don't think you are clever. Far from it. In fact, you are one of the least clever and downright emotionally immature people on here. The way you try to make people think you are clever is so transparent, it's laughable. You need help if anything.

They can't. By the nature of something being bad, that mean's worse than they should be. Sub par. These results are not acceptable under the circumstances. He has been given the most amount to spend than we have spent in our Football league history (barring relegation from PL year). He has essentially a new starting 11 with only 4 legacy Cooper players, we are approaching game 9 and 10 now, these results are not acceptable. Where did I say he should not be given more time? In reference to what? What was ''time'' referring to? You seem to be complaining that I am saying something, then complaining that I didn't say it when I ask you for evidence. You can't have it both ways. Did I say it or didn't I? If I didn't then it's best you don't pretend I did and focus instead on what I actually said. If I didn't say those exact words then yes, I said nothing of the sort. Tell me the words I said and we can discuss them. Its how conversations work. So if most agree he should be given time... why aren't you shutting up about it? Wasn't that your standard you set for others? Or only when it suits? Again, where did I say he shouldn't be given time, and what is ''time'' referring to? Time for what? You have form for pretending people said things so its best we clarify. Where have I slagged off the manager? Any quotes or examples? How do we know there are no KPI's or performance reviews happening? Any links to that? The rest of your post is just emotional waffle, excuse me if I skim. Over to you for the quotes. ta.

"Nothing of the sort" means nothing similar. What you said was very similar and you always do the same. You are a joke of a poster. Fact. WUM and troll, as you like to call people. I really can't be bothered to waste my time debating a foolish and uneducated WUM.

Yes, I know what it means, that is why I said it. I did not say Russell Martin should be sacked or anything similar to that. If I did then post the quote on here for us all to have a look at. You can't be bothered because you have been schooled and you know you are wrong. Bye then.

It's good advice. Especially a troll that lies about what other people say and can't back them up with quotes. If what I said was so similar then you wouldn't need to lie, you would just quote what I actually said. The issue with that of course is then it would become clear that I didn't say what you wish I said at all. You have to get up earlier in the day than that to get one past me Sunshine.

| One for Keith and Mods on 13:07 - Sep 13 by Dr_Parnassus | Hull in 2019-20 were bottom on 45 points. Sheff Wed bottom last year on 41. Again yes. I am not extrapolating a team in isolation. I am showing that our form (that you said is acceptable) would have put us bottom of the league last year... and the year before, by 7 points. For some reason you think I am extrapolating the whole league for this season, and coming up with ''bottom by 7'', I have explained twice (three times now) that what you think my point is.... isn't. My point is showing that the form that you say is acceptable - isn't. I am showing you that by explaining that IF these results that you think are acceptable go on for the season, it will give us 38 points. I am not saying it will go on like this, or making any predictions that it might. It is simply a tool to show you that 5 points from 6 games is not ''acceptable results''. If you think it will improve then that is great, but if it does THEN those results will be acceptable. These ones aren't for the reasons I just stated. I really cannot explain it any clearer than that. [Post edited 13 Sep 2021 13:10]

I stated earlier in the thread: "The results *are* acceptable, in my opinion. Based on my belief that performances and results will follow in due course and we'll end the season mid-table..." You object to that and have demonstrated that our current form yields 38 points after 46 games, based on earning 5 points from our first 6 games. My view is that our form this season won't be a straight line, but an upward curve. The basis of this thinking has been mentioned by many on this forum in numerous posts - new manager, different ideas, no pre-season, Covid disruption, "accepting the initial pain" etc etc. I believe this has merit. You don't and have stated your reasons - fair enough. Crucially though, if we are *on the curve* - yes, the results to date are acceptable to me. I accept the current form, because I anticipate improved form. So, in summary... For you - The results to date are unacceptable to you because 5 pts from 6 games is relegation form. For me - The results to date are acceptable to me, based on my belief that performances and results will follow in due course...which is exactly what I said at the start and I stand by that statement. I provided context/contingency. Acceptable — tolerable, so-so, satisfactory. To me. Everyone has a perfect right to opinion. I’ve never suggested the results to date are acceptable to you, or anyone else.

Well in that case it’s a bit of a nothing burger isn’t it? We could have lost all 6 games 10-0 and you could still say that’s acceptable because you think it will get better. It’s meaningless, simply hope. What we do know is, we have played 6 league games. Won 1 of them. After which the manager clearly stated the players went rogue and moved away from his plan. We are yet to win a league game under his system after spending the second highest amount in our football league history. If you think that’s acceptable then great.
