| Vaccine passport plans for nightclubs and events scrapped, confirms Sajid Javid on 11:51 - Sep 14 by jackrmee | "The 28 days is arbitrary-people will die of other causes and others (obviously others) of the effects of Covid later than that" I agree that people will still die of other causes, but apparently not one person has in Germany after having the vaccine. Not one! |
Died of Covid. I don't see anything too surprising in those figures.

| Vaccine passport plans for nightclubs and events scrapped, confirms Sajid Javid on 13:42 - Sep 17 by Jack123 | I'm not worried now, even if it does go ahead, and they are accepting self reported LFT tests.. I Have never taken a LFT test, but looking at how they work and how to get your details on to the pass, seems I only have to swab the grass out the back, get the QR code, or ID number printed on it, upload it, and hey presto.. I'm in. |
Good point haha, so many ways around it. Will be a complete farce

I definitely will not be attending now that they are bringing in these tests . It is nothing more than coercion . Sorry the club will lose money at the end of the day .

I know loads who won't be going, crazy thing is they'll all be mixing together outside of the events in pubs on public transport etc. We all know it's not about stopping the spread, it's about coercing the unvax to get it. Will never happen

It's amazing they need to be coerced. They won't be missed financially or intellectually.

Course they won't because it won't happen. You seem to be forgetting the experimental jab is still only provisionally authorised under emergency use. Dripford is a massive bulbous bell end

I'm just pointing out, that it is easily beatable if anyone wants to attend said events, so I would whinge a bit if we ended up in lockdown again, any blame lies with the ones who implemented the system, not the ones who could take advantage of it, which I may add, I most probably won't.

It sounds like you're calling for a stricter testing regime to qualify for a covid pass. I'd agree, a £68 NHS PCR would prevent people being able to get around the loop hole.

One could still get around it if they wanted. The PCR test they sent to me was just a simple swab that I had to send back and wait for my result to be emailed to me. Anyone could have swabbed, not necessarily me. It's a pointless gesture really and doesn't prove anything. I'll be doing the tests to get into the ground though. Obviously if it comes back positive, there is a possibility for some people to simply ask someone else to do one, or wipe it on the grass, as has been already mentioned. I do think that is an extremely selfish act though, as knowingly putting other people at risk is out of order. I do think that vaccinated people should be getting themselves tested as well though, as it will be them who are putting others at risk, by going to the game whilst possibly spreading the virus, without even knowing as their symptoms will be minimal. The only people in that ground who can prove they are not spreading the virus, will be the unvaccinated, due to the enforced tests.

No, I don't agree with the pass at all! I have seen the way some of the double jabbed act, because they are double jabbed, seen someone with a terrible cough, worst I have heard since covid started, when I stepped back, it's ok, I'm double jabbed was the response. So the way I see it, the welsh government, are just making the double jabbed feel even more invincible, there must be better ways than this. A double vaxed can turn up to the liberty coughing and spluttering, tidy he's been double vaxed.. It's crazy So no, definitely not a stricter testing regime, just something different rather than hair brain schemes, which are a waste of time.

Simple. Just make everyone do a LFT, not just the unvaxxed.

But this is only a waste of time scheme because the tests are unregulated. nd they are completely unregulated, I see Drakeford is considering making the falsification of them a criminal offence. That would be completely unenforceable. I'd say proof of full vaccination or a test undertaken by a medical professional is the only way to get closer to a normal life.
