Two nil nil draws and still excuses being made This fella is talking bug and producing zero folks. Sorry but you have to be more cynical and questioning if his plan,if it is a plan, which to me reads that he will play pretty football whatever the pain. He s said as much. So I’m not too keen on my club playing Forest a green in the league even though it’s another sever side derby and an easy trip. I hated Cooper but this fella could prove to be the most despised I can remember and I’ve seen em all. And….we are stuck with Russ. We must all be positive and accept what hat Russ says even if cue are bottom as Russ says it’s work in progress. That s a cracker is that. It’s his insurance pitch which we seem to have swallowed whole. I’ve pitched to plenty in my time but Russys pitch seems to have eclipsed anything I could come up with. This OP will get personal insults, brickbats, snide remarks and subtle abuse so fire ahead. Where I am right now means internet is ,as they say, patchy. Wales is truly backward in many areas and many love it for that . Who s up first then We recdetermined to go swimming in Hells Mouth tomorrow so wish me well as I know you love this sites Premier Poster . Ars Longa Vita Brevis | |

| This is where we are .don’t read if easily offended on 12:25 - Sep 17 by Catullus | All our lives are pantomimes, or as Shakespeare put it 'All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players' The only proof that plenty of people are unhappy is if they voice that opinion, the vast majority haven't voiced that opinion, yet. It may come, time will tell. Now " not too many boos" is a clearly ridiculous statement, there were no fans in the Liberty to boo him though there was plenty of booing to be seen on here, OHL was acheerleader for getting rid of Cooper and now he's telling us Martin is a fraud. Changing my opinion wouldn't make me a hypocrite, it would mean I was using logic and common sense to judge the situation and form an opinion based on the facts after a suitable time has passed, to give the new manager a fair chance. If we were getting stuffed every game I could understand people being negative but so far there has only been ONe very bad performance but the last 2 games have been very encouraging. If Cooper gets the Forest job we'll see how good a manager he is but then, from what I've seen the Forest fans are dead against him, I wonder why? Maybe they watched us last season? https://www.nottinghampost.com |
I agree, the proof that people are unhappy is if they voice it. But my issue was you saying that people not voicing it, was proof that they were happy. However by the same standard, that would only be known if they were cheering. Silence is not a display of happiness. There have been plenty of Steve Cooper games in front of crowds, what are you talking about? Very few boos. As for “cyber boos” they are here too, just different people. The last lot were cyber booing when we were winning and flying in the league while the others were cheering… now it’s the opposite, those that were cyber cheering when we were flying are cyber booing now, and those that were cyber booing when we were flying are (bizarrely) cyber cheering now we are 20th. Changing your opinion wouldn’t make you a hypocrite, no. However slagging people off knowing full well you may be joining them in as little as 4 weeks, is hypocrisy. We have seen Cooper for 2 years already, he’s already proven it. 6th and 4th. Some Forest fans not wanting him there is not proof of anything other than that. There has been opposition to almost every manager name I can think of that we have had, including Brendan who is the best manager in our history in my opinion - that’s football.
