I really wish I could believe that. Even if they did get everyone vaccinated, the way I see it, nothing much will change.
Just look at Gibraltar, according to this headline the most vaccinated place in the world, yet restrictions for Christmas.

I thought Malta was the most vaccinated at 176% but even so, they have 52% of the infections of last years peak and Christmas isn't cancelled they are just asking people to be careful, as Keith says, it's scaremongering.
Looking at the Editors recently, George Osborne was replaced by Emily Sheffield and she is David Camerons' sister in law. I wonder who runs it now but if it's anybody to do with the names above, I wouldn't trust it. | |

Personally I don't want any more lockdowns but some restrictions are very necessary. Well, more rules than restrictions really, wear a mask in shops, wash your hands and use hand sanitiser, isolate if you are symptomatic or test positive. Lastly get vaccinated as it drastically reduces your chance of being seriously ill.
Then you just get on with your life.
It's the unvaccinated who are facing stronger restrictions. Make your choice and live with the consequences, it's that simple.
PS, OHL, I disagree about Holland and drugs, they have a far more liberal attitude to drugs and fewer problems because of it. These people rioting aren't exactly chilled out. A good puff of weed and they'd be far more relaxed! I'm saying that but I don't do drugs!!! |

Just read the entire article objectively and compare it to the situation last year. It's hardly restrictions at all.
They're basically encouraging people to be sensible until the boosters are rolled out.
And just look how much things have changed here since vaccination has been rolled out, I've been to the Swansea christmas parade tonight. That couldn't happen last year, it did this year because of the vaccine, nothing else.
Covid isn't going anywhere, I'll get it one day and so will you. To be blunt, I'll probably have a nasty cold you could be laid up for a couple of weeks or even much worse. [Post edited 22 Nov 2021 7:40]

As the German health minister said. There'll be three groups at the end of the winter the vaccinated, the recovered from covid and the dead.
