Matches getting covid postponed and talk of football stadia closing or severely restricted YET

We are still seeing footballers, many unvaxed ,slobbering all over each other after scoring a goal.

It really is utter stupidity.

Our manager left it up to the players

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

Every study they do says that it makes you less likely to catch and (if you do catch) less likely to transmit. He's been told this before but keeps banging the same tin foil drum.

The studies show that the Vaccinated have as high a viral load as unvaccinated and therefore spread it just as much.
There are far more of them and they are far less careful.
A recipe for spread.

True it is about footballers/coaches & the impact on the sport but you are missing the point that if you are fully vaccinated & identified as a close contact t of a positive case you can carry on playing/training with daily negative LTF tests - 10 of QPR’s ‘missing’ players for our game today were isolating because they couldn’t be bothered to get vaccinated I.e. they were to blame for the game being postponed.

There is no such thing as immunity to coronavirus regardless of how many jabs you have.

And therein lies the stupidity, if the Unvaxxed are isolating who is spreading it withing the club and between clubs?
I will give you just one guess.

Unfortunately your logic fails as we all know the unvaccinated are not isolating.

That said the Lancet confirms your point on the viral load similarities between vaccinated & unvaccinated, however it also confirms that a vaccinated individual clears that viral load more rapidly but feel free to carry on with your vaccination makes no difference to our lives philosophy.

You said "10 of QPR’s ‘missing’ players for our game today were isolating because they couldn’t be bothered to get vaccinated".

So don't try and change the subject to the general public.

Not changing the subject, clearly players will not be given the choice to play/train by their club once they are identified as close contacts with positive cases.

Of course it might also suit certain clubs that way to build their case for a postponement request.
