This has been a tough year and one where we thought we could see Covid beaten. Wrong and it shows we are in the hands of the Gods really.And Luck.
Many of us will have lost friends and family and Christmas is a time when loss is most felt.My old girl went on a Boxing Night ,apt really as we had a real shindig at my nan's in Fleet St ,a a kid when we all had to do a turn. You never forget those days,tough as they were although tough then is different to tough now.We no longer have industry nor jobs for life and have to change careers/job and retrain. The future is not a secure as we thought it was.
I detest this time of year but accept its family time and with that in mind I hope you all appreciate your family good and bad alike .
For those of you reflecting loss and the pain that goes with it and for those with threatening health issues s ,we only have the Now,so make the most of it.

Hey, nobody is perfect. We all have flaws. OHL gets very worked up about the covid deniers, anti vaxxers and conspiracy idiots.
I think some people do deserve a dose of the problem they deny. People, good people, are dying because of all the lies, misinformation and disinformation being spread.

Nothing the matter with being concerned and having passion as opposed to insouciance at what he sees as plain wrong.

Sounds bizarre eh!! So did people who decline a jab being barred from society this time 2 years ago.
There is time to stop it but more people need to stop complying and wake up to what is going on, in bigger numbers than they currently are.
Now that is what you should be worrying about.

Very much so. It doesn't mean I've stopped being cautious but life must go on. I wear a mask in work. I get my shopping in the early morning (7-8am) to avoid crowds and the only place I see a lot of people is at the football but there will always be some risks as you get on with life.
I don't stress about much anymore, I just get on with it. Anybody reading my posts on here who thinks I'm getting angry or excited or wound up, unless I actually say I am then it's not happening.
Christmas has been much better since we put the stressful parts behind us. Do what makes you happy, do away with what makes you unhappy, that's a good rule to follow as uch as you can. Without breaking any laws anyway
