Spurs dumped out of Europa Cup for failing to field a team.
Should EFL do the same?
it might get those footballers who think they are above a vaccine to act like grown ups and get jabbed.

The jabs only prevent hospitalisation, so it would make no difference at all

I would imagine Spurs are devastated.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Reducing the severity means recovery is quicker and there is also some evidence that being vaccinated will make it less likely that you will pass the virus on to others, which means your decision to get the vaccine also protects those around you.
Either way Spurs have nearly 200 players on professional terms we have c80 it would be unlikely (or bad management in the extreme ) if a team could not be made available.

Plus reducing hospitalisations has a huge benefit to anyone needing non-Covid related treatment & a workload reduction for our NHS staff - both of which are a tad bit more important than football players!

By prevent hospitalisation of course, you mean prevent serious illness and risk of death. Players are free to decide of course but if the EFL (or any ruling body) punishes teams for non compliance of the rules then maybe individuals should face a punishment if they cause the problem.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

But nowhere near the severity or numbers hospitalised.
Wearing a seatbelt doesn’t prevent crashes or injuries but it prevents devastating injuries and reduces deaths.

Premier league teams have to fulfill their contractual obligations such as boxing day and New years day fixtures. Gardening leave for the "vaxx refusniks" is the cleanest sensible option. Huge squads , dispensation to recover loan players and use of u23. Job done.

It just requires firm decisive management. PL management teams are not paid a fortune to do nothing and see games postponed and wait for the TV compensation claims to come in. Amazon want to be on good terms with the public for the January sales.
