I'm pretty much in the middle ground these days when it comes to politics having my fingers burnt the last time I voted labour and Tory values, shall we say don't align with mine.
So when I read the numerous threads in which either left or right wing views are discussed I'm struck by the level of anger/angst displayed by those with left leaning tendencies ,be the subject Brexit, Covid and now the BBC and I wonder why that is . I believe that voters of all political persuasions will have voted for Brexit , happy to abolish the TV licence and suffered the consequences of Covid but for some reason debating the finer points is a lost art for some.

Yes the UK does not work for Cymru.

Neither does the Senedd, although Westminster works better for Scotland and NI, strange innit.

Would you consider yourself a centrist or more leaning to the right?

There are many on the left who will not accept an alternative view for sure. I am curious as why you call them angry muppets though. There are many on the right who will also not accept an alternative view. Are they also angry muppets?

I hope it wasn't Churchill that you are suggesting said that.

You saved me asking the question Jack.

There are many people who believe their opinions are correct and alternative ones are wrong. And who also call people names because they've come up with an alternative rather than discussing the pros and cons of whatever the particular subject is.

And those people can be either left or right leaning.

I remember years ago in Skewen everybody voted for a Communist ex labour councillor who won by the fact he representnted the local people.

I will vote screaming boris thatcher drakeford corbyn if i thought they would carry out manifesto pledges.

Boris got Brexit done.
Boris was sorting immigration- ongoing
Boris sorting BBC - ongoing
Boris sorting - Civil Service Henriettas- Ongoing

I did not vote for Boris Thunderbird the second with all this carbon nuetral shite, if he wants to turn green ban all single use plastics from next year and all plastic phase out fair enough but its all bollocks.

The problem is Starmer, a costume of a politician, two steps behind the slowest then telling us whats up.

So i think "wer'e all doomed"

If by sorting you mean ‘f*cked up everything he has touched’ then yeah, you’re bang on the money. 😂

Got Brexit done ?

I assume you have been asleep since 2016.

Its had twice the negative impact that covid has had.

No benefits - and the situation in the north of Ireland and Scotland mismanaged to the point of breaking the union.

I was talking to a mate in Brixham who works as a welder. He was saying over Xmas that the fishing side of things down there are booming with everything now sorted. I havent seen this reported anywhere.

The Wee Burnie point i agree with you the SNP mismanagement is beyond belief yet its also hardly reported. As for NI situation better people than you and i have tried and failed miserably.

Brexit will take time to develop and im sure it will become a great success, The EU is going to collapse in the next few years unless they change with Merkel gone and Macron taking over the steering.

I enjoy a good kip i must admit especially after some Belgian Blonde ale and a nice pasta which are still available to buy locally, i was worried because the remoaners reckoned we would never see an imported ale again. If you believe Brexit has had twice the negative impact that covid has had, i politely suggest you cant compare for numerous moral and ethical reasons.

Employment up, pound doing well against the Euro, Economy growth one of the highest in Europe, First to vaccinate and the highest vaccination levels in Europe.

Sadly Illegal immigration is up, which I find strange to leave a wonderful country like France, one of the biggest member states of the EU, to come to a racist country that has left the EU and is going to be a poverty stricken country without the EU apron strings.

Was it brexit that stopped foreign travel and saw thousands of businesses shut down?

France is having a bit of a time with Macron,

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news

Apparently he wants the EU's external borders to be stronger, maybe he's anti immigration eh.
I knew brexit could be damaging but I didn't realise it had the power to damage economies of countries not even in Europe, oh wait, that must be the pandemic then.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Isn't the break up of the Union the primary aim of independence party
