Russell Martin ‘ We have a responsibility today’ Swansea City go for the historic double 2nd Apr 2022 10:00Russell Martin will most certainly be remembered for one thing if today Swansea City win the derby game against Cardiff City. He is a man who has stuck by his belief in his ethos and strategy to win a game of football, however to win today means history, the first ever double in the south Wales derby. And that’s what he will be remembered for. 0

"Martin loves the tactical side", well you could have fooled me.
All he has to to do is slect the right players in the correct positions, provide them with the right tactics with adaptibility and let them do the rest.
Uneash our players and let them play to the best of their abilities. [Post edited 2 Apr 2022 10:40]

At no point could he have constructed the positive things he has done without his attention to tactical detail.

It is positively not positive to play lads out of position or to instruct them to take risks when there is no need.
I d rather we take risks in front of the opposition goal not ours.
Frankly,I am finding this kind of dialogue rather bizarre and feel rather disconnected mainly as I cannot believe we are accepting Martins mantra.
We will be missing out on play offs this season in a mediocre league .How the fark is that good
We destroyed Huddersfield for 45 mins this season at the John Smiths YET the Terriers will be in the play offs . They are nothing less than a well organised but limited outfit. In all positions, apart from goalkeeper obviously, we more than match them .
Martin could be honest with himself and give Hamer a go and see if he is worth another contract .
