Being reported we have turned down a request from Rangers to take him on loan.

Martin says he part of the first team squad

Sorry missed the article at the top of the page

Top class facilities by all accounts. Hopefully it was on time and on budget and will keep churning out great players for Swansea city and Wales.

Now that's what I call keeping it in the family . I wonder was there competitive tendering involved or wouldn't there be a need ?

Competitive tendering costs money and time. Tenders won by the lowest often means highly contractual issues if anything is not in place or specified and CLAIMS which can be exorbitant and lead to legal issues. Contracts have to as tight as a drum. If there is a tight deadline that would also be milked.

A contractor would have a great time with an extra floor for sure.

Having an in house contractor would avoid all these issues in theory as no one leverages against their own company. The fact that there were no delays and court cases or other contractor issues tell me the choice of contractor was a good one.

Swansea city is not the Council handling tax payers money. If 'Uncle Idris' does your garage roof felting no one is going after you for a lack of competitive tender.

Wise sage since Toshack era

What utter tosh , I never realised the Club had an in house contractor ,surprising they’ve never been identified as such in the Club accounts

We did a lot of that at the time. The Trust director even ended up with the contract for matchday programmes if memory serves.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
