Portsmouth still linked with Swansea City players 18th Jul 2022 17:32Swansea Independent has been told that Portsmouth are considering an approach and offer for Swansea City’s Jordon Garrick. With some excess cash in the bank from the sale of Marcus Harness to Ipswich Town last week, Pompey are keen to replace him with Garrick. The fee though could be the stumbling block with values on the player some way apart. 0

How much could we even be asking for? Seems to have been a similar issue with Benda - don't want him in the team but stuck a higher price tag on him than we were paying for "upgrades".

Martin should mould these developing players into a hungry unit instead of replacing them. Benda, Brandon /Ollie Cooper, Garrick and Joseph. They have speed and strength and youth.

On the hand if he's allowed to go cheap, people will be up in arms, about us giving players away

It would be ironic if the money we gave Ipswich as part of the Downes deal found its way back to the Swans coffers
