The film was made and narrated by the late Leslie M Rees, once the Chief Librarian in Swansea. It was compiled from the footage he shot in Swansea over a period of years, around the late 1950s and early
1960's.

It was released in 1966.

If we visited family here we’d also have to take the ferry across the Severn!

Thanks for that , I just watched the lot remember somethings long gone now mind , makes you think what the town Centre would look like if it wasn’t for the luftwaffe , found it on YouTube and sent to my kids to also have a watch
