If the Obafemi deal goes through 09:21 - Sep 1 with 701 viewsKeithHaynes

I wonder how he will behave at Burnley ?
Has Russell Martin managed to educate him sufficiently to not become a loose cannon and disrupt other players ? Can’t see Kompany standing for that. Mind you the grass is always greener. Ask Flynn.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

I hope he throws his toys out of the pram when/if he leaves, gets dropped and doesn't score against us.

What if the Championship is Flynn's level and he doesn't make it in the EPL? he's 23 now, he's no youngster anymore, he needs to kick on or he'll be shipped out.

If Oba returns to being a loose cannon that'll disrupt his career too but that wouldn't be bad for. Worst case for us is he scores against us in both games and we lose both...and the owners didn't spend any of his fee to strengthen us of course.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

The recruitment when Martin first arrived was exemplary. Obafemi Piroe and Downes all on permanent. Te club needs to keep it going. Overll about £4m.. Downes £9m and Obafemi £6m or £7m.

The key is to go in and get Ogbene straight away £3m and see another mark up. Throw in Bennett for free and give Rotherham £1m for his salary.

Wise sage since Toshack era
