Even if you are playing safe every time, which I think we’re far less guilty of now than we used to be, you need a player like that who will take chances, sometimes lose possession, but sometimes open things up.
Work rate off the ball seems reasonable to me. He did look out of position quite often. That’s a more valid reason than losing the ball trying to make things happen. |  |
