You should visit Bridgend the cycle path capital of Wales, money being spunked down the drain on paths for cyclists who continue to ride on the road. They really don't help themselves.

You say "they" as it they are a different species. There are bad drivers and bad cyclists, motor cyclists, horse riders (my biggest pain). We need to get more people out of their cars and on to a bike and for that we have to make the highways safer to do so. Its about attitude and ours stinks.

You misread my post. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/ 3 million pound spent on improving cycle paths for tossers in lyrca but they continue to ride on the road. I repeat THEY do not help themselves.

| Bike v Car on 10:25 - Nov 11 by Boundy | Not wanting to labour the point (but I am ) , not sure this would constitute a main road , anyone wish to comment on the car reversing onto the "main road " rule 201 . ( this could run and run ) Do not reverse from a side road into a main road. When using a driveway, reverse in and drive out if you can |
Thats the video I saw, watch the childs reaction after the father shouts at the car, he's all over the place thinking he's getting shouted at. And no, the car shouldn't be reversing out like that.

| Bike v Car on 19:36 - Nov 8 by Catullus | I have seen many things since the changes, many bad things. Motorists either don't knw or don't care about the changes. I've seen (and nearly been a victim of ) bad driving on crossings, people not stopping at the lights. people crossing the roads at junctions, cyclists, many drivers are just saying to hell with it, in my opinion. I stopped at a junction for someone crossing, as the rules snow stipulate and all I got was a horn blaring and some verbals. |
That giving way to pedestrians at junctions is bonkers, if someone decided to put a zebra crossing at a junction surely people would say that's a daft place to put it, simply because the driver wouldn't have much chance to see the pedestrian after turning into the road, whatever happened to find a safe place to cross?
