Our Chairman, Anyone seen or heard from him?

Apart from his very strange tweet, nada, nichts, bugger all.
Let me refresh your grey matter, with the start of Andy Coleman’s mission statement to us, the fans…

“This is a community club and my vision for it begins with strengthening the connection between you, the supporters, and the leadership of the club. The fans are the heartbeat of all clubs, and you are no different. Communication is of paramount importance, and I will be as transparent as possible. Whilst you may not agree with every decision I make, I will always put the interests of the club first.”

I had to laugh when I read it again….

“ Communication is of paramount importance”

Swansea fans and perhaps fan in general seem to have a need to be mollycoddled. To be told how great they are etc.

Swansea fans were given the great privilege of being owners. That simply did not work out that well as they did not accept the concept that other owners might want to cash in their chips and do something else at some point.

Swansea owners therefore probably feel the right to be exempt from transparency

For all those sages that think keeping Stum by the owners is pretty normal, this article from another site sums up the other point of view a treat :

“Obviously any investment in to the Swans is always welcome. Despite shares being once again diluted in the club. How the money is being distributed is not known but with debts to pay and forward planning for the future we feel a large amount will go to keeping the club stable and sustainable. Another welcome area that has been paramount since relegation. Also the actual context behind the investment, the people involved and rumours of a number of small investments via undisclosed sources should be explained in simple terms to the Swansea fanbase. The club has been far too quiet of late, and we realise that certain subjects are continuing to be discussed, but that doesn’t mean reassurances and a line of communication cannot be kept open. It doesn’t have to be about the current managerial change, investments or players, just an open dialogue on club matters. It isn’t much to ask with supporters in some cases spending the vast majority of their income on following the club home and away. We will end on a positive and understand fully the dedication and positive nature of the majority ownership’s commitment to Swansea City FC.”

Just an opinion there, other people have different opinions.

That was the whole point in me reposting it, as it was another opinion other than the “Nothing to see here” views concerning our mute owners.
