It’s been reported that Boris has made £5m in the first 6 months after leaving his role as PM, he reported being paid £500k for 2 speeches. Since then he’s picked up a job with the Daily Mail reportedly paying just short of £1m per year.
Tony Blair used to coin it in, but not sure about how much he earns these days. His wife was a top barrister specialising in employment and discrimination law and then more recently Human Rights Act stuff. While I don’t agree with all aspects of the Human Rights Act, to be fair to her she’s got to the top of her profession and earned good money. She’s better value than spivy politicians. | | | |
