| Could duff convince Piroe to stay? 15:57 - Jul 15 with 3459 views | RhonddaSwans | New system better manager no more pass pass back to the keeper pass pass give the ball away concide. .If Piroe is impressed by duff surly the best place to be is here for one more year. Not being funny but Leicester, Southampton or Leeds will never love him as much as we do. Plus the 20 mil price tag the way they see him they think he will be scoring 3 a game . One more year release cause for a top flight club. I got a good feeling that we can add Duff's style to the technical style we have been playing and contend this year. Like when Brendan completed our style last time. All we need is a Scott Sinclair 2.0 + borini type loan in January. | |

I still think 12 million is he least we will accept regardless of who it is. And I’ve every faith at this moment in time that Watson has the whole back up plan in hand. We need anither forward niw regardless, unless Duff just saw Whittaker as an extra he didn’t need.

Seems apparent that Whittaker wanted out regardless of Duff's hopes and needs.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Or he has someone else in mind and just didn't rate whittaker. Whatever happened, happened, I just hope that duff gets the players he wants as I think this guy is the real deal.

The Swansea way as we have all witnessed over recent years is that we will buckle and fail to replace him in time - Sigurdsson, Llorente, Trundle, Obafemi, Sinclair etc. - all wanted out, all got their moves, direct replacements were not brought in on time. Panic buying set in, failed bids, refusal to pay the going rate & we know how it goes. We’ll find out soon enough if the new organisation is any better than previous regimes.

Pity we didn't accept the 2mill that Rangers offered, if the owners brought him back to play, they obviously didn't bank on Martin giving two minutes at the end of games, but who knows what went on in training. Plymouth is probably the best place for him seeing how much he's thought of down there, he may do well there, hopefully not when we play them of course, but he'll no doubt want to. I don't think he had grief from the fans, so he may keep his powder dry for the Saints game

If we were offered 2 million for whittaker from rangers I will platt fog as the board would have snapped their hands off.

If we were offered the £2M how was it staged. £500K plus add ons? So much now and spread over a period of time. Personally I think that the club are moving away from staged payments and moving towards smaller payments for sales and purchases, payments on the nail, thus reducing floating debts. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

With hindsight, a poor decision. In fairness, sometime he was given ten minutes .
